Description
In continuing my Tribute to Marshall, Colorado series, I retrieved an old photo that I took on one of my walks of a vintage truck, lit up dramatically by the morning sun. At last I've finished this painting that has long been in my queue. Timeworn buildings such as these summon my imagination. Who once called them home? Look closely and you will see a special moment between a mother and daughter. After the fire, the truck remains, a charred shell. The buildings and trees live on in my memory.
