CHERRYVALE ROAD
SOLITUDE
On a wintry walk on a favorite path along the berm near the top of Marshall Mesa, we paused to enjoy a bird's eye view of the landscape below. I was taken by the ribbon of road that wound its way through the landscape below, passing by the iconic Cherryvale schoolhouse which blessedly remained intact in the wake of the Marshall fire.

This is the presentation for the ten paintings, corresponding post-fire photos, and text that explains the backstory behind the art, as they appear in my art show "A Tribute to Marshall: A Journey Through Healing". My Marshall exhibition will be shown in various venues in and around Boulder, Colorado in the coming months. Above is the text included with the photo.
