Title
Tri-tone Yucca
Artist
Anne Gifford
Medium
Painting - Watercolor
Description
I used only three colors in this painting: alizarin crimson, quinacridone gold, and cerulean blue. It was fun to see how many different colors and values I could get using such a limited palette.

Anne Gifford replied:
Thank you Chris. The three color limit is a fun little exercise that i enjoy doing with my classes as it teaches about color mixing

I love the soft colors in this so much, Anne - I know if I tried to paint it, I would make it too dark and it would not be nearly as appealing! L/F
