Description
Having just driven through the mountains with their explosion of aspen leaves that is the hallmark of fall in Colorado, we stopped by the Rio Grande river near South Fork to assess the fishing prospects. While John got out his fishing pole, I was taken by this meadow of gold with its quieter allure and its own brand of brilliance.
