Artist's Description
This is a little looser than some of my paintings. An aspen grove I saw at Caribou Ranch open space in Boulder County caught my eye. I tied my biggest brush to my forearm, and painted the painting sans my usual dexterity. This is the result.
About Anne Gifford
Anne Gifford is an award winning artist and the eight time poster artist for Colorado's Bolder Boulder 10K Memorial Day Race, one of the largest road races in the United States. I like the loose, almost abstract style--captures the feeling so well. Sadly, there are no aspens where I live, but going to northern New Mexico and Colorado to see them has always been a treat. l/f
