Description
I was an artist in residence at Caribou Ranch near Nederland, Colorado a few years ago and the week I spent there was one of the most serene, creative experiences of my art career. As I walked down the road near my cabin, I saw this sunstruck scene as I rounded a bend. I can still feel the quiet.

Such a splendid watercolor painting Anne. My first thought was that I love the foreground tree. But then I looked a little longer and there are so many components of this painting that are quite beautiful; the wildflowers, distant mountains and your portrayal of the light. fav
