Description
This summer the foothills stayed green all the way through the end of summer, thanks to the unusual amount of rain we received in typically bone-dry August. One Colorado morning I was hiking in the fields in front of Boulder's distinctive flatiron mountains, just as they were peeking out from an early morning bank of clouds. How blessed I am to have a view like this in my own "backyard".
