Windows to the World canvas print by Anne Gifford. Bring your artwork to life with the texture and depth of a stretched canvas print. Your image gets printed onto one of our premium canvases and then stretched on a wooden frame of 1.5" x 1.5" stretcher bars (gallery wrap) or 5/8" x 5/8" stretcher bars (museum wrap). Your canvas print will be delivered to you "ready to hang" with pre-attached hanging wire, mounting hooks, and nails.

Artist's Description
Another painting inspired by a scenario at my friends' home in Salida, Colorado. Their quaint one time ranch sits in a gorgeous setting in a valley between towering mountain peaks. My friend Ellen has the greenest of thumbs (she also taught me to use watercolors). Plants and cats populate their home, which she and her other half, Preston, have refurbished to rustic perfection.
About Anne Gifford
Anne Gifford is an award winning artist and the eight time poster artist for Colorado's Bolder Boulder 10K Memorial Day Race, one of the largest road races in the United States. She began her career as a silkscreen artist. After 25 years of printmaking, Anne now works with watercolor, building successive layers of color to create her vibrant, rich, and detailed paintings. She has lived in Colorado since 1976 and finds inspiration in the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains. Her paintings, like a pictorial journal, have chronicled her journey thus far. On her many walks and hikes throughout the area, she is always on the lookout for new imagery. She relishes the depiction of a magic moment and the evidence she finds of the pulse of life,...

Anne, I am always amazed by your versatility. I love this scene and how we see it through multiple windows. I also really like the contrasts - the shine on the table next to the softness of cat fur, the texture of the clay pots, walls and doors vs. the clarity of the window. And anyone who has ever had a relationship with a cat will smile when they see this beautiful painting - as I did! How many times have we opened that door? It tells such a story and I love it!
