Product Details

Unbroken Snow metal print by Anne Gifford.   Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Artist's Description

I woke up Thanksgiving morning in Breckenridge, Colorado to this beautiful scene which I encountered on my morning walk. The clouds were just clearing after an overnight snowstorm which delighted me. When we had arrived the evening before, I had been disappointed to find there was no snow at our mountain getaway, only the muddy remnants of the previous precipitation. I was the first person to walk along this path, so took the photo I used for inspiration before I left my footprints in the snowy trail.

Anne Gifford is an award winning artist and the eight time poster artist for Colorado's Bolder Boulder 10K Memorial Day Race, one of the largest road races in the United States. She began her career as a silkscreen artist, and now works with watercolor, building successive layers of color to create her vibrant, rich, and detailed paintings. She has lived in Colorado since 1976 and finds inspiration in the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains. On her many walks and hikes throughout the area, she is always on the lookout for new imagery. She relishes the depiction of a magic moment and the evidence she finds of the pulse of life, both past and present.
