Description
As what is surely one of the last snows of this season melts away today (it's springtime in the Rockies!), I say farewell to winter with a painting of the flatirons as they looked on a morning, winter walk. The snow on these iconic Boulder, Colorado mountains made them more dramatic than ever as the early morning sun lit them up.The trees had leafless, rusty-orange branches which in this painting, I stylized into soft shapes.
