Description
After painting all morning at the Walker Ranch homestead west of my home in Boulder, Colorado, I found a perfect picnic table at which to eat my lunch. I sat down and noticed my own reflection in the window of the nearby cabin. Of course, I had my painting supplies with me, so the next four hours were spent starting this self portrait. I returned two days later to spend another 6 hours finishing the painting on site. I admittedly got lost in every little knot hole of the wood in the ancient cabin. So much for a quick lunch.
