Description
One of the most fabulous places in Colorado if not anywhere in the world to see a concert is at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre near Morrison, Colorado. In this painting, if you look carefully, you will see in the very center of the painting the stone bleachers and performing stage tucked between the rocks. My favorite concert at Red Rocks was several years ago when I was treated to a performance by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. Hearing that iconic music underneath the starry sky on a warm summer night was pure magic. I can still see David Crosby's long, white hair flowing in the breeze.
