Description
On a hike into the mountains west of Boulder, Colorado, where I live, I was amazed at the number of Indian paintbrush wildflowers that were in full bloom. I snapped a picture, thinking this could be good fodder for a future painting. When I inspected the photograph later, I was delighted to see that it included a fisherman in an inner tube, captured at the moment he cast his line.

Congratulations Anne - Your wonderful painting has been Featured in the All COLORADO group. Please add it to the 2023 Featured Archives group discussion. Would love to know where this is since we haven't seen any Indian paintbrush yet this year, just tons and tons of yellow flowers. L/F

Anne this is perfect in all ways. I can hear the buzz of the insects in the grass and chirping of birds in the trees as well as smell the lovely fresh air around this beautiful pool. I am sure the fisherman is so relaxed and enjoying the peace he really doesn't care about the fish!
