Description
Flagstaff mountain is a favorite way to quickly get into the mountains from my home in Boulder, Colorado. At the top, after maneuvering a multitude of hairpin turns, my mom and I were rewarded with the perfect picnic spot. We started back down the mountain as the sun was setting and this was the view we saw from the winding road ~ the magnificent flatirons as they caught the last light of day.
