Columbine Closeup metal print by Anne Gifford. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Artist's Description
On a hike near Breckenridge I saw an entire field of columbines. The columbine is the Colorado State flower and although they are quite common here, it is always special to run into a them in the wild. Some are bluer and others more reddish purple. I decided to crop my painting to get some interesting negative space in the background, and used salt to get the speckled effect on the purple petals.
About Anne Gifford
Anne Gifford is an award winning artist and the eight time poster artist for Colorado's Bolder Boulder 10K Memorial Day Race, one of the largest road races in the United States.
